This sculpture is made from over 2000 pieces of 316 stainless steel and took over 12 months to complete. The stainless steel shoal and the sandstone plinth, together weigh over 10 tonne.

Life Teeming – Life Teaming is a celebration of Life: Ocean life. Our Oceans represent a playground of immense enjoyment for all Earth’s inhabitants. Life Teeming – Life Teaming pays homage to the life of the sea and the surf, and explores dramatic wind-driven wave formation. A shoal of fish, brimming with life, beautiful to witness, is also an important food source for humanity and has been so throughout history. Life Teeming – Life Teaming is a reverential tribute to all living beings.
