"Basil Sellers Sports Sculpture Project" Adjacent to the Ladies' Pavilion at the Sydney Cricket Ground, this 400kg bronze sculpture of cricket icon Richie Benaud, was unveiled on the 4th January 2008 by the NSW Governor Marie Bashir and SCG Trust Chairman, Rodney Cavalier. Richie and his wife Daphne were present at this unveiling, and Richie spoke fondly of the likeness as a young cricketer in front of an appreciative gathering during the lunch break of the third day of the second test. Terrance was commissioned by benefactor Basil Sellers to create this first sculpture, of a series of 10, to be installed around the SCG and Sydney Football Stadium in the future.
